Livinghouse Dairy

  • County: La Porte County
  • Location: La Porte
  • Years active:

We believe the dairy was owned by Noah Ray Livinghouse (1893–1977). Noah is listed as a farmer in the 1930 and 1950 U.S. Census. He was the father of Ray E. Livinghouse (died 2011), whose last known address was 2658 E. U.S. Highway 20 in LaPorte, an area still known as Livinghouse Farms, located about a mile and a half from Rolling Prairie. If someone has access to LaPorte phone books from the 1930s, we may be able to narrow this history down further.

More research is required.
