Constantine Boleslaus Kachur was born in 1859 in Germany. He married Marianna Rosina Robowski in 1886 in Prussia and immigrated to the United States around 1890.
In the 1897–1898 and 1899 directories, he is listed as a deputy sheriff.
He later operated a grocery store and saloon at 411–413 Tipton Street in La Porte. The exact date his business closed is unknown, as city directories between 1913 and the start of Prohibition in 1920 have not yet been researched.
He died on January 15, 1947, and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City.
